Todays Villa de Stefano, built in the second half of the 18th century, once known as Villa Bochet, then Castellano, became the property of three de Stefano brothers of itlo-american origins. Through the facist times the structure was occuppied by the “Colonia Marina” as a summer resort; from 1948 up to the sixties it became the secondary school building of Piano di Sorrento; then it was used by “Nino Bixio” naval academy and today it is the property of “Marinvest slr”.
